These types of lamps were also very popular. Relatively inexpensive, and quick to assemble, however annoyingly fragile, thus easily damaged, if not handled properly. Once hung and left alone with minimal maintenance these lamps would last longer than the quirks of fashion. Sadly, they didn't survive as a lamp style.
