Fireplace Cupids

An older Toronto home, that had a fireplace flanked by two small windows, needed something to take the eye away from the boring exterior wall, on the neighboring house. It had the typical narrow walk way between the two homes, so keeping some light available was important. The two cupids, hand cut stencil sandblasted into blue on clear flashed glass, solidly blocks the uninspiring view, yet the light coming through the sandblasted portions, even in low light, really created a dramatic focal point.
